No dates are held without a signed contract and receipt of the deposit. See Pricing for more information on rates.After confirming availablity, you will receive a two-part contract. Please fill in all appropriate information, sign and return one copy with your deposit. The other copy is retained for your records. After your signed contract and deposit is received, the date is reserved.On the day of the event, depending on the weather, location, and type of event, Jessica will arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the start of her services. Ms. Frost feels that is very important that the bride and groom have the opportunity to hear her in person and personally hand-pick the selections for their ceremony. Selections are usually chosen for the seating of the grandparents and mothers, party processional, bridal processional, unity candle lighting, recessional, and other special ceremony music. See Pricing for more information.Small ensembles are available with flute, violin, clarinet, trumpet, viola, and voice. Additional fees may apply depending on the individual musicians. See Duo Arioso for more information on a flute and harp duet for your event.Ms. Frost will travel approximately 60 miles round-trip before charging extra for mileage. Mileage rates are $.45/mile for each mile over 60 miles. For distances totalling over 100 miles there will be a $50.00 fee for traveling expenses added to the mileage rate.Jessica Frost enjoys playing for outdoor events but there is an additional charge of $50.00 for any outdoor performances. Ms. Frost requires a dry and level surface for her harp. If it begins to rain during any event she will immediately cover her instrument and move to a covered area. The harp is delicate and very costly. Please understand that her first priority is protecting her instrument.All outdoor events require a back-up indoor location booked for the same time as the outdoor ceremony. If there is no plan for inclement weather and weather conditions make playing outdoors impossible, she will not perform. The full balance of the contract is still due.Due to unpredictable weather, temperature, and humidity, no outdoor bookings are accepted for pedal harp during the months of November through February.Jessica Frost loves to introduce children to the harp and many children (and adults, too!) seem drawn to the sound of the instrument. During events Ms. Frost is more than willing to demonstrate the harp for children during breaks (if it is appropriate) but she asks that anyone interested in touching the harp have freshly washed hands and wait until she invites them to touch the instrument. Ms. Frost does not appreciate having anyone try to touch or play her instrument while she is performing and she will temporarily stop playing if this becomes a problem. Any standing or leaning on the baseplate or column of the harp is also unacceptable.
